The Southern Cruisers Riding Club is a Free, Family Orientated, Riding Club for motorcycle enthusiasts, not a MC or 1% club. It is open to anyone who loves riding, regardless of the type of motorcycle they ride! All we ask of our members is that they ride safe, don’t give the club a bad name, and support their club!

Club History

The Front Range Chapter #491 is a newer division of the Colorado Chapters.

It was formed in the summer of 2006, originally based in CastleRock. Since then the original First Officer, ”CodeRider”, stepped down, due to his work commitments, which prevented him from focusing on the Club activities and development. We’d like to thank CodeRider for setting the foundations for what will no doubt be, a great club you can all enjoy. CodeRider and his wife, are still a very big part of this growing club!

New blood was injected into the leadership ranks, in November 2006 with First Officer, Donzo and Second Officer, Mole. They are both very enthusiastic and committed to making this a successful and thriving chapter!

In June 2008, our State Officer, Jimbo, relinquished his position and chose Donzo as his successor, due to his leadership qualities and his success with our #491 chapter. At the same time, second officer Mole, was being relocated to a far away land called Atlanta! This left a large hole in the Chapter! Luckily enough, we had a leading candidate, who was equally committed to driving this chapter forward. “Dragonrider” was offered and we were extremely proud to say that he accepted the position as new 1st Officer!

Dragonrider’s first job was to select a 2nd Officer. He found a worthy candidate, Duke, who will immediately take over the role.

Club Goals

  1. To ride motorcycles!
  2. To spend time with old friends and make new ones
  3. To provide an environment that will be a safe and enjoyable experience while doing the first two in a group setting
  4. To use our hobby to provide assistance to those in need whenever we can
  5. To maintain and project a positive public image, to educate the general public at every opportunity regarding the difference between a riding club and a motorcycle club (MC), and to educate motorcycle awareness
